Sinai in the City (SITC) is Temple Sinai's young adults program that provides social and religious programming to individuals in their 20s and 30s. Founded in 2009, the group hosts its events in New York City, and since its inception, all of the group's events have been free to members. Past events have included Shabbat dinners, service projects in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, "Dinner with the Rabbi," HebrewSchool reunions, and an annual Hanukkah party and charitable toy drive. Senior Rabbi Michael White is very actively involved in SITC and loves spending time with our young congregants!
The group is open to temple members and their extended families, and events range in size from 15-75 people. Whether you're recently out of college, living or working in the city, single, married, or anything in between, there's something in SITC for everyone. We'd love to welcome you at one of our upcoming events. Please contact Linda Neiman ([email protected]) in the temple office so we can invite you to join us - the more the merrier!
Our unique SITC young adult group does some community service by cleaning up a Manhattan park.
